RDB has designed the new headquarters for the Florida Department of Revenue. The project is comprised of a 47 acre campus with three buildings: a two-story call center and two identical five-story, 200,000 s.f. office buildings. The project includes a central fitness area and cafe as well as generous training/conferencing facilities. The design uses extensive open plan offices and all workspace is on raised access floor. The project will seek LEED-NC Gold certification, a first for the Department of Management Services as part of its commitment to high performance buildings and sustainable design and construction. RDB's services included site design, building design, space planning, interior design, furniture specifications, construction documents and construction administration. |
