Rolland, DelValle & Bradley was associate architect with Robert A. M. Stern Architects on the Jacksonville Main Library. The project included the 5-story, 300,000 s.f. library and the 6-story, 600 car parking garage. The Library with its classically inspired exterior design was the winner of a six-month City sponsored international design competition. The major interior features include the Main Reading Room, the Grand Stair and an upper level courtyard. In addition to housing the main fiction and non-fiction collections, the Library houses special collections, teen services and the children's library. Ancillary facilities include a cafe, book store, auditorium and conference center. The parking garage site is on the adjacent block and includes 20,000 s.f. of ground floor retail space.
